People go on Home for different reasons, some like to talk to others. Some like to troll and select default avi 1.

Others like to glitch. So why allow two and not the third. Tubi brought up some good ideas. People buy and use Home to glitch, it still makes Sony money. Its because a lot of people whinge all day long. If its not about glitchers its about errors. Always some thing to whinge about.

Why dont you just go on Home, use it for what you want. Then go on with your life.

I think you have a good point there actually. People do all use home for different reasons. I have no issue with glitching aslong as it doesnt annoy me and its not disrupting games

I don't mind glitchers at all really, just as long as it doesn't interfere with anything I'm playing/doing. What I don't get is why. The effort of finding them, doing them, it just takes so much effort! I don't really get out much now-a-days so my life routine can get tedious at times, which what makes me so confused as to why people would rather sit in their houses smacking an avatar's face off a wall over and over so they can reach a "forbidden area" as opposed to going out and doing something fun with real people in the real world.

Or have I inadvertently stumbled on my own answer, these people have no life or friends?

I have some glitcher friends who are very into finding expolits and hidden areas in public and apartments; they have different circumstances too....one is wheelchair bound after a motorbike crash so he has been at home (and on Home!) for a couple of years now. Another is a big stoner and in ill health so he generally stays in and fiddles about with glitches with some likeminded friends. The guys I know are generally pretty responsible with how they use their secrets, and don't disrupt games.

There was one occassion however, when a buddy PMed me to warn me to get out of the Cantina space as his associates were planning to freeze the server to experiment within a few minutes, and although I appreciated the heads-up warning I also let him know I was displeased with the company he was keeping and the risk to hard drives that could affect the other users in the space...I was disappointed with him being part of this activity, and gave him a bit of a telling off at the time.

He knows now not to abuse the power, and he tends to experiment on empty or private servers or just in apartments now, so I'm glad he didn't get too caught up in the nasty side of glitching for too long. I'm all for patching by the way, too many others do abuse it - I find many glitchers can sometimes be quite selfish and up themselves to a large degree, with little respect for the Home public as a whole.

They really have no right at all to complain if these glitches are removed...while some can be fun to watch or perform, a good many others are causing nothing but problems, serious gameplay disruption and data damaging problems.

That's just it, Trini. Some see it as power. When really it's just an exploit they know how to do.

I don't have a problem with exploit finding at all, or using it to decorate. I do have a problem with those that literally talk about it all day, feel they just HAVE to flaunt it to people, only hang with glitchers much like druggies only hang with druggies, and start getting a bit delusional on possibilities know an exploit as opposed to not knowing one makes a difference in social hierarchy.

Exactly. The personality and character of the person determines the glitcher's actions and motives.

Some want to explore and see great views and hidden places (and yes, it IS fun, no doubt) while others just want to ska it up in the middle of game areas, begging for notoriety....bitter, self-absorbed bores really.
