Thankyou for your reasoned response Fury. I agree with you that the tenor of some of the posts in this thread has been undiplomatic to say the least, but I understand and share their frustration. 

To answer your question, yes I do like a challenge. Let's compare the difference between the changes made to the bowling and pool. The bowling in my opinion has been improved by making it more difficult and a better simulation of the real game. However, the only reason that pool is now more "challenging" is because of the reasons listed earlier, ie awkward controls, poor aiming view, etc. If it had become a better simulation of pool then I would be all for it. Unfortunately that is not the case.

The empty tables I'm referring to are on the private server. It was always quieter in there but you could usually find someone to play, unlike now. I will continue to try to adjust to the table even though I consider it to be broken. 

I don't restrict myself to playing pool exclusively in Home but like others I miss a game I used to enjoy. I enjoyed the challenge of pitting my skills against some very tough opponents and the banter we all had. I found it to be a relaxing and therapeutic little pastime while waiting for friends to show up. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Thank you for your on topic, well worded post jfsebastian. As someone who has been playing pool since the days of closed beta, I find it  frustrating dealing with people who more casually played the game. It's a bit difficult to explain unless you have logged thousands of hours playing the previous version as many of us have. Perhaps some think that's sad, so be it. I can think of worse things to do with your time. The old game was still a challenge...was just a matter of finding players of equal or greater skill. I think an apt comparison would be if the Home Hold 'em Poker was taken down and in its place "Go Fish" was substituted. Still cards, right? I have a feeling that even though some would like the change (some group of people always will no matter what the change is), a large group of users would miss what they had come to love in the previous game.

I feel the pool playing community deserves at least an acknowledgement from management that issues exist with the current game and an explanation as to why they were made. I realize that this isn't the norm here...I also know that such a blatant disregard for the customer breeds contempt.

Hello me again. Well sum time has past n the pool tables are worse than ever b4. U cant even complete a game with out it glitchin its a joke. Thnk u sony or whoever thnk u for doing nothin abt thnk u for not listnin to thise who buy your piece of crap ps3s witch aint worth shyt as soon as u update it wid ya dodgy updates that make ya ps3 go slow. Thx for ya maintnce that seems to fix nothin at all.

You never used the Navigator Tannoo? Press start and it will be on your menu. Or when you log in go to where it says PlayStation Home spaces and it will be a few spaces down the list.
