Re: x7 vip club

Ok you're right, enough corporate talk.

I'll have to look again Fury, I just see a space that reminds me of the days I used to hit the clubs and bars. If only I knew how fast they'd go, I might have taken less drugs in the hope I could pro-long the experience! Ahh well, all good things must come to an end eh. If it wasn't so stupidly priced I might have even concidered going in... scratch that; I'd have TOTALY been there in a flash! I'm not embarassed to admit I like the SingStar space, but nearly all of my regular friends refuse to go there for various reasons. But the way I see it, the more spaces like this we can get, the better. I'd love for a full street of virtual clubs to tour with my Homies to appear. If you ask me, there should be spaces that cater to adult night-life. Coz, y'know, I CAN'T GET OUT IN RL!!!! LOL

Re: x7 vip club

MixM8 by lockwood sounds like its right up your virtual alley then. If you havent heard of it, its their very own virtual world but based around music not video games and has nothing to do with sony playstion, from the promo vids ive seen its all virtual nightciubs, as far as im aware its still in closed beta stage though. I'd throw a link up for you Krazy but im posting from my ps3 and its bunkum.

Re: x7 vip club

Yeah, I'm posting from my PS3 too, it's better than that damn tablet I have at home tho! As for MixM8, I've seen snippets of it on their site and I gotta say, I like the look of it. Just a shame I couldn't get into the beta. Maybe after a while of it being open to the public (and provided it gets a good response) Lockwood would concider bringing some of that to Home. I guess that depends on Sony's attitude though. One of the best things Sony ever did in the 90's was to bring the clubbing comunity into games with wipEout on the PS1, but I guess that was partly to do with Phil again. Speaking of which, there's a write up about him moving to MS over on Eurogamer you might like to read Fury? I'll see if I can stick in the link...

Yeah, here you go... http://ads.eurogamer.net/delivery/ck.php?oaparams=2__bannerid=3400__zoneid=18__source=article__cb=c3...

Not sure if that'll work but, give it a go.

Re: x7 vip club

Wait... SCEA want NA Home users to pay $4.99 to get access to a space, and for 1WEEK ONLY? pfft... I'd be expecting to get permanent access and free drinks for that price!

Please SCEE, don't introduce this into EU Home, It will just be as popular as the PSPlus space.

On the other hand, I do like the look of the space, and I do appreciate that Sony do need to get their money out of the service, but honestly... this is taking it a little too far to be honest.

Re: x7 vip club

LOOL! It's a what!? They made a whole FILM from Battleships, how the hell did they manage that!!!!

Ahh well, I did try. I thought it would have worked but I guess the PS3 got confused somehow. It's not hard to find on Eurogamer anyways, there's a litle picture of Phils wee bald head next to the title, you can't miss it.

$4.99 isn't the only means of gaining access.

If you own one item on a select list of criteria (or are PS+) it will give you permanent access, and the $4.99 temporary pass fee is permanently waivered.

Re: x7 vip club

Hey guys, I think there has been a misunderstanding of the cost to get into the VIP club in NA.  You can buy one of the mansion personal spaces that cost $15 and get a permanent lifetime membership to the club.  And if you got the mansion garage for free during the welcome back program, then you can buy the needed mansion space for $10.

So $10 will not only get you a personal space that has a lot of other perks tied into it (like getting furniture bundles for $1), but permanent access to a VIP space that is essentially NOOB free.  If you ask me that is a great bargain.
