Error 80028ED6

I've just started getting error: 80028ED6 when I load Home.

 

I can sign into PSN fine but shortly after launching Home I get signed out with the above error code.

 

I know that when an online game title is booted, the PS3 connects to the patch server and sees if a new patch for the title has been released. If the connection fails, the PS3 will sign you out from the PlayStation®Network and you return that error.

 

So the question is... Why all of a sudden can't I connect to the patch server?

Hi
Got the same problem today 16:00 GMT. It would have been great to say how you fixed it? is it the network? worked okay yesterday but not today and I haven't done anything??
can anyone advise

I just flushed my DNS cache which sorted it.
