Oh please. As far as I can tell these items went missing (again) in november 2009. And now, 8 months later, it's "proving to be difficult to fix"? Continents have been conquered in less time.
There is a very simple solution for this:
1. Identify every customer who bought (part of) the tactician costume
2. Refund them
In addition to this, at your discretion, do something nice to make up for this mess. I'll leave it to the forumers to make suggestions below.
