My HOME is broken

My playstation home freezes every time I press the START button that should bring up the new navigator. Have tried every thing, re-installing home, deleting all save data. Its just plain broken for me now.

Hi bozza,

If you're using another language on your system give this a try:

http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Home-Technical-Help/1-65-freezes-PS3/m-p/15871315...

EDIT: I should read better it seems.

The thing you're describing has happened to someone I know and the only solution was to back up the PS3 and do a system rebuild. After that it worked but seems to be to an extreme.

Thanks, Tried all the safe menu options, in the end I had to perform a complete re-format of my PS3 and start all over again. :smileymad:

Re: My HOME is broken

The best thing to do with Home issues is to delete the Home application, and redownload it. Home can quite easily go wobbly so a reset every now and again doesn't hurt :smileywink:

He already did that though, that's what we both get for not reading it right :smileywink:

It's a really strange bug that affects very few so it's hard to replicate.

Bozza, hopefully you got it working again. I know it sucks that you will have lost quite a lot but it's the only clear solution I have seen so far :smileysad:

Tried all that including deleting the app, and all saves. Only way to stop if from freezing was to re-format my ps3 and start from scratch.

All working fine now.
