Playstation Home app fully froze my PS3

Anyone else has had this problem i selected the Playstation Home icon on the XMB still waited 30 seconds sill nothing so pressed the ps button on my controller nothing then i pressed the power button next to the eject my PS3 bleeped 3 times when i pressed the power button i pressed the power button again still 3 bleeps it wouldn't respond via power button so i unplugged my PS3 & plugged it backed in it solved the freezing before i deleted the application & downloaded a new 1 but it hasn't solved the problem it only happens ever 4 or 5 times selecting the application via XMB,

Try upgrading to the latest firmware.

The Home app does occasionally lock up as it's beta software so isn't flawless.
