The return of D4512

I'm proud to announce that I am booted three times within an hour, all with D4512. I see people around me getting booted frequently as well. This is a sudden increase, as I have not had more than two boots (F13) in several weeks. So ehh... we have a new problem? Or was the old one never fixed?

The old one was probably never fixed. I got a couple F13s the other night so this problem is definitely making a comeback. :smileysad:

I'm afraid to say I've recently been seeing more and more of it. I can barely use Home right now as a result.

In fact I've had around 5 D4512 disconnects since I started talking to LordRoss not that long ago. :'(

EDIT: When trying to reconnect I was faced with another error, D3505. Upon researching I found they pointed to the following reasons:

D4512 - No response from server. You may have Internet connectivity issues or the server may be unresponsive.

D3505 - Service disconnected. You may have Internet connectivity issues or the server may be unresponsive.

I've been over my connection several times and I can say that connectivity is not an issue. My connection is more stable than it has ever been as I've had BT engineers out to work on the line and even had them change the entire line to a better quality one.

When running a PS3 speedtest the results are:

  • Internet connection test: Pass
  • UPnP: Available
  • NAT Type: 2
  • Download: 4.7Mbps
  • Upload: 284.6kbps

These are pretty close to the actual line speeds and when viewing connection strength I will always have around 97% to 100% signal. With that in mind I've put the PS3 in a DMZ to minimise the risk of network issues, but am still getting these problems :smileysad: HELP!!!!

EDIT EDIT: D5027 now. STOP THROWING ERRORS AT ME :'(
