Trying to download update 1.52 but everytime is click ok it crashes my ps3 is anyone else having this problem?

I just updated and didn't have any crashing issues.

did you wait for the orange light to COMPLETELY stop flashing before you pressed X to install?

This is an old bug from updating from a previous version. If you wait for approx. 30 seconds (just to be certain) before pressing X to update it should work perfectly fine for you then.

This is also happening to me, i can't even press ok it just freezes as soon as the update shows.

I'm having the same problem,  when I press X my ps3 crashes and when I wait for the orange light to stop flashing I cant select ok or anything cause the ps3 freezes and I have to reboot it again. please help

So yeah I have searched all over the forums and all over Goggle and I can't still find a solution for this problem.

After a lot of tries of pressing X and my PS3 crashing, I read that I'm supposed to wait until the orange light stops blinking to press OK, BUT... it wont even let me do that.  As soon as the orange light stops blinking when I try to press X(OK) my PS3 freezes and it doesn't do anything so that leaves me with the option of restarting my PS3 and trying all over again with no results.  I have counted to 30 seconds to press OK and nothing, and after the PS3 freezes I've  waited a few minutes to see if anything shows up and nothing happens.  I really don't know what to do anymore. Is anyone else having this problem??
