I nearly fell over with surprise today!

 

As well as posting on here, I had called the customer service helpline many times last summer about this problem and have heard nothing since, so I was very surprised to get a call out of the blue today from Sony.

 

It was good to finally speak to someone directly about the missing rewards. I got a very genuine apology that it is taking so long to solve the glitch and was told that everything should have been fixed and items returned by last November but there had been a software problem that has pushed this back. I was also told that the issue certainly hadn't been forgotten and was being addressed. Although no timescale was given I was told that things should happen soon.

 

I know it's been a long time for a lot of people, and nothing's been returned yet, but it was good to speak to someone who was reassuring and knew what they were talking about!

 

Fair play for someone getting back to me and fingers crossed we won't have to wait too much longer :smileyhappy:

It seems that followed the resolution of this issue was important to you about. So do not forget us before leaving.

Resolution of this issue rests with the client development team currently. Last I heard they were still working on assessing the effectiveness of a code fix they implemented just prior to the end of 2010.

i am missing all my rewards, would like to have them all back, but at least the E3 rewards would be nice. i have already got back what i could myself including midway which is really messed up cause it cost money. do what u can to help plz

Sorry to hear that, been longer than that for me, and much longer for others I know of. Oh well, just means they are missing out on money from customers. I refuse to play Home except to unlock new limited time rewards until it is fixed. Won't buy anything cause there is always the chance it is going to dissappear like all my old items did.

yes my killzone outfit i get in killzone save the plaza is lost also my motorstorm helmet and the glasses i get in the E3 space, hope they can fix it very soon and restore our missing things

Add me to the list of people missing Home Reward clothing and furniture etc.  I hadn't logged in in four months.  Tonight I logged in and found that my avatar had been changed to a default female charcter (I had a male avatar) with no reward clothing on.  Also both my apartment and my Summer Home were missing all of their funiture.  So it appeared as though all of my reward items had been completely removed from my account.

 

So I panicked contacted PS3 support, which had no idea why this would have occurred.  Neither the rep nor the supervisor I spoke with had any clue about problems with Home.  Maybe the tech support dept I spoke with only deals with the hardware.  Anyway, I decided to look through my wardrobe and to my surprise some of my reward stuff was in there, also some reward furniture was available.  At the time of the call I relaxed thinking that I had access to everything but only my avatar, apartment and summer home had been reset.

 

After getting off the phone though I quickly realized that I only had access to *some of my reward items.  Here is a quick and dirty list of stuff I don't have access to:

 

Some Sodium rewards
Around 15 Namco rewards (not including vending machine items which are missing too)
All Echochrome rewards
Alot of Icebreaker rewards

 

I'm missing other stuff too that I'm not putting here just for the sake of trying to cut down on this post.   

You can access my transactions list and compare it to whats available currently for my avatar, you can also view my rewards area to see what I've earned or received over the years.

 

Something important to note:

 

All of the reward clothes, furniture etc that have gone missing *do show up when I pull up my list of rewards in PS3 home, they just aren't available to place or use in the wardrobe or redecoration menus.  In those menus they are completely missing.

 

Also if I go into transactions record under "manage account" on XMB I can see all of the home items I have gotten over the years that are currently missing when I load up Home.

 

 

Please either fix my account or let me know who I need to contact.  Thank you!
