Where is Sony? Have I missed something?

I hope this doesn't get me into trouble (I'm a noob here and @ PSH), but the entire PSHome system has been crashing & burning all weekend and I'd like to know where the heck Sony has been the entire time.

It's Sunday, the 3rd day after wide-spread problems emerge, and we have no message from Sony?

Have I missed this in another thread? If so, I'd appreciate a link.

While my "internal geek" (so to speak) fully comprehends and is perfectly willing cope with existing technical problems, my "internal consumer that spends a heck of a lot of $$ with Sony" is really disappointed about Sony's silence regarding the on-going problems that make their equipment unusable for the reasons purchased.

Hey Sony:  Are you listening?

Sometimes the best approach in PR terms is no approach. To pretend there is no problem.
Well, maybe to us it seems daft but Sony have a long history of carrying out the zipped lips.

The network appears to be having stability issues at the moment. Try again later and see if it's any better :smileyhappy:

Re: Where is Sony? Have I missed something?

This weekend has been particularly bad but these network "stability issues" have been happening for months. Frankly, Sony would regain some goodwill by publicly acknowledging the problem and actually doing something about it. The head in the sand approach doesn't cut any ice whatsoever. Keeping playstation users in the loop a bit more would show a bit of commonsense. Clearly the PR disaster that occurred last year with the PSN outage has been forgotten and the lesson still hasn't been learnt.
