But i do think that when it does comes back, about 3/4's of the way through, they will throw in a character [like stapler for example] that will totally confuse new players, and at the same time .... throw original Xi'ers into a pit of nostalgic despair

i hear it as "ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME. GOOD. WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES FIVE YOU WILL BUY MY ALBUM!" and then the singer laughing in a james bond villian like way.

Maybe I'm taking Jess' ominous 'when the time comes' statements too far. I thought at least she would stay... But yeah, you're right that it will have to be at least reasonably separate so that newcomers can join in too. I don't really understand why they couldn't have kept Stapler in the Alumni Hub but given him 30 new phrases - are they that hard to write?
I'm being quite spoilt actually because Xi has been brilliant. I just want more NOW
