Stand clear of the doors, please!

Having real trouble getting into the Expert Maze. Why? People standing on the steps idly, with 'Back soon...' above their heads.

If you're not going into the maze, please show some consideration and MOVE AWAY FROM THE STEPS before going off to make a cuppa or visit the loo.

Honestly, it's as bad as those people planting bubble machines to block doorways.

Re: Stand clear of the doors, please!

Well the Bubble-machine/door thing is easy to circumvent, but I don't know if you can use the same trick to get by the sleeping people on the steps?

Don't know if you know how, and don't want to read it, so I'll colour it out...

(try "locking on" to someone and the circle through the options.... might have to do it a few times) I had the same trouble with the puzzles in AZ2. Too many people, too little space!

Re: Stand clear of the doors, please!

Finally got in - seem to be on a different server or 'instance' - and now there are people standing on the pads in the Expert maze dancing and obstructing other players.

Y'know, sometimes people really p****** me off.

Re: Stand clear of the doors, please!

That Happened on my first instance I was in, there were about 20 people in that little area with loads of people on the pads.

Re: Stand clear of the doors, please!

I had no trouble selecting the Expert Maze. What kept on happening to me is I got "Scene download error" every time. I was starting to lose patience with people saying I had to talk to Stapler first. "Yeah, done that". The next pearl of wisdom was if I had done everything else "Yeah, done it all - won't download".

Eventually a friend advised me to sign out completely and try again, which I did, and it worked. Maybe I just need to have more tollerance of people who were trying to help. Then again when I got stuck on the same server as a guy shouting the answer to butterfly 18 to all and sundry I was getting a wee bit tetchy.

Anyone else have the download issue?

Re: Stand clear of the doors, please!

Paranoimia, I know exactly what you mean. Was stuck in an overcrowded pad room too.
Just was there earlier with just 2 or 3 people and the laser gate opened, no idea why, though?

Re: Stand clear of the doors, please!

I had a few problems both entering the Maze room, and the Actual Maze.

But got there eventually

Only when I try to go into a new area using a previous Fav location link.  When a new area opens, I make it a habit to make a 'fresh' visit there (then deleting it and re-adding it to the Fav menu), using the original entry method (the teleport pad for AZ3, for example).  Sometimes when you use favorites, it doesn't 'update' the location on your local HDD's database with the new connections.
