Casino complimentary rewards

I've just emailed the casino tech support as I didn't receive any of the complimentary launch goodies like the hotel room, 300 chips and tshirts.
Anyone else have this problem?

I've had no problem with the Casino space but I know a lot of people are having the same troubles you are.

 

I heard Digital Leisure are aware of the issues and are looking into them.

 

To satisfy my own curiosity, what was the first casino space you visited?

Looking to me like its a capacity issue.

 

EDIT: Its come back online again for me. 5 minute down time aint bad :smileyhappy:. AND I now have 200 chips.

First space was the normal casino goodbytes, just the reception area. My boyfriend also lost 50 chips just by leaving the blackjack area and entering the normal main casino, I emailed them though regarding both issues and ive now got my hotel room and tshirt and they've reimbursed my boyfriends 50 chips not bad really. :-)

Seems to be a few issues with it that are most likely down to the server overload. Different people get different amounts of free chips it seems but my luck went the other way when I ended up with 1100 after having 0. Not all bugs are bad ;)

Oh.  What's the amount of free chips that you guys are supposed to be getting when you first visit?

 

Also if you're not getting your Paradise Tshirts and Complimentary Hotel Room when you arrive, it's definitely a server overload issue, as GB and loony say.  Same issue with missing stuff happened way back when with Midway 1 and Sodium on their grand openings.  Just go back and visit the Casino a few times during the off hours and your complimentary items should unlock.

Wait what O_o?? the bank cant do anything about it. The transaction was completed, you just didnt recive the items you paid for by a glitch or error. You can try and get a refund but it may take a while (took me 4 months to get one)

This is incorrect. PSN wallet funding is not temporary and cannot be refunded without reasonable cause.

If you use a credit/debit card to fund your wallet after entering your card details a small test transaction will occur ( by SONY ONLINE SERVICES INTERNET GB). This transaction is temporary and is generally refunded within several days.

It should also be noted that PSN transactions are instant and thus cannot be cancelled by the bank once made.

Read sections 3, 4, 6, and 16 of the Sony Online Network Terms of Service and User Agreement (PSN & SEN). This has some useful information to you.

All PlayStation®Home content is sold with a disclaimer you should be aware of.

 

Bottom line is if you have a problem contact your local PlayStation Customer Service Centre. It's not that hard to do. They will tell you to contact a 3rd part developer or publisher is the issue is out of their scope.

Not receiving what you pay for is reasonable cause for the amount to be refunded back into your PSN wallet. But that's it.

PSN wallet funding is done so on a non-refundable basis; so if you fund your wallet during the checkout for Home content and then later get a refund because that content is not received, the money will go back into your PSN wallet - not your bank account/PSN card.

Which in fact means, if you have paid for something that Sony cant "deliver", you are forced to spend the money on something you have not intended in the first place. 

 

An extreme example for this would be, you pay for a family car offered to you by a dealer but get 4 bicycles instead cause there is a technial problem which causes that the car cannot be produced.

 

Nice, .... for Sony but not for the customer!

you arent forced to spend it on something else, you can wait to see if it gets fixed or leave the money in your psn wallet until something comes out that you will buy

I like the rewards, however i have spent over one hundred dollars on the casino and i am only at level 7 on the over all level. it has taken over a year to get to level 7.any game i play in the casino i am winning 2 times   out of 20. my goal is to win the casino penthouse, and honesty speaking the casino needs to be removed from psn home. by the time i do win the casino penthouse, it would cost me 160 dollars.i very much regret spending  a huge amount of money just to be ripped off.it makes me very sad that DL is willing to take from people. 160 dollars for a handfull of rewards and a penthouse is heartbreaking. i love psn home, its awesome,the casino is littery stealing the peoples money,please dont make this huge mistake that i made by spending over a hundred just to get the casino penthouse.<3

its gambling and comes with risk. i bought 40k and after many hours of war had penthouse and 40k. then lost it all with only 200k more gains. acknowledge the risk of any casino before playing.  they exist 2 take money

if it was real gambling then children would not be able to play at the casino, its against the law for someone under the age of 18 to gamble, psn home, is a gaming community and there should be no risk in it at all. i do not gamble in my real life and the goal at the psn home casino is to level up to get rewarded. so spending 160 dollars to get rewarded is heartbreaking. i advise you to note the difference between real life risks and gaming risks. there are no risks in a game, and ask your self this, would you realy encourage anyone to spend 60 to 160 dollars for a handfull of rewards and a penthouse especially encourage children under 18 that spend their allowances on psn home. this moral has a point, please stay on point, thank you.
