Quality Assurance generally involves testing for bugs and glitches a conventional user would find without all the networking and file tomfoolery. As far as I know they don't have a QA team because we can cover the stuff outside of content testing and they are on a very tight budget and business model.
We are beta testers, volunteering on an "open beta" (I'll never get over the idea of a permanent, ongoing open beta).
It was merely a thought, I guess instead of QA it would be up to the devs to sort the bugs out. People need to get over the loss of the glitches. I have.
