PlayStation Home has been serving the PS3 community since December 2008. During that time, tens of millions of users around the world have grown the social gaming platform into a thriving community of creative and enthusiastic gamers.
Due to a shifting landscape, PlayStation Home will cease publishing new content on the 12th of November, 2014. Gamers in Europe will be able to download content until the 3rd of December, 2014. As a token of our tremendous gratitude to the community, we will also be releasing a series of free content prior to the platforms closure on the 31st of March, 2015.
We would like to thank all of our fans for their support of the PlayStation Home platform over the years.
Well it was fun mostly, met some great and not so great people on home, will miss it :/
Let me get this straight. Over the past four years I've probably spent well over four hundred dollars on homes, moves & dances, clothes, etc. and you're just saying "hey, tough luck, we're just shutting it down." Who does business like this? It's like if I bought a car and the dealer decided four years into my purchase that they're just taking it back from me. It's illogical and bad business. Now, if you created a new platform and credited all of our purchases forward to this new platform, that at the very least would be a sound business decision. I'm curious to learn what, if anything, you plan to do to reimburse us for all of the money that we've spent on Home. I'm sure that the legalese has this covered somewhere but this could turn out to be a nightmare for Sony in the court of public opinion if they don't do anything to reimbuse us in any fashion. Sony, please do the right thing - or you may end up losing a LOT of business from disgruntled purchasers. Oh, and by the way, I've obviously loved Home too, made lots of good friends on there, I've been amazed at the game development, some friends turned into "real world" friends, it's just sort of a shock. I'd heard that Japan and EU had closed and suspected that this could be coming - but I'm still perplexed about how you expect us to be o.k. with the money that some of us spent on here, just to see it thrown down the drain. Hopefully, you're considering some kind of solution to the money that a lot of us laid out to you over the years.

A: There are no plans for PlayStation Home to come to PlayStation®4. PlayStation®4 is a powerful next generation console with the connective capability to offer gamers an outstanding social gaming and community experience in brand new ways.

I'm gonna miss home, been on it since the closed beta, back in the days when people were hanging on the words of TedTheDog and MusterBuster for an inkling of info. Back when Xi was running (The best, most innovative AR game, which could only have been done on a community based platform like home. Problem with home was that it was a platform for the casual gamer, on a console that wasn't really marketed to anything but the hardcore.
Nooooo! :smileysad: You better bring something to the PS4...SOMETHING!
I hope so. Lets just wait and see to be announced in the future. Lets cross our fingers for Home to be on PlayStation 4.
DO NOT TAKE PSH AWAY IM SO SAD I WANT TO CRY
Before you do that, please allow me some time to inflate a paddling pool in my garden so I can swim in your tears!
