Dear Home community,
There has been a lot of speculation during the last few weeks over PS Home's future, particularly in reference to the PS4. We understand that many of you are curious to find out if there are any plans for Home on PS4 but unfortunately we are not in a position to make any announcements at this time. Regardless of any plans for Home on future platforms, we hope that you will continue to support it on PS3 and would like to share with you some of the updates that we have in store for you to enjoy:
SCEE
VEEMEE
Lockwood
nDreams
Digital Leisure
Atom Republic
Hellfire
And much much more from Granzella, Toylogic, Game Mechanics, Codeglue, Madmunki, Flashman Studios, LOOT, JAM games, Bigyama, Juggernaut and the rest of the PlayStation Home development community!
- The Home Team
Looking forward to see the new HomeSquare!
yes because there would be no point in telling people we're killing home when the moneh's still rolling in right?
Option 1 - Tell people we're killing home and the users stop spending
Option 2 - Don't say anything to extract the last few quids out of its users
Hmmm...what a business decision to make?

I don't understand why the Home team had to bring this up all of a sudden. PS4 Home discussion has been quiet here recently...
Perhaps it's because of the rumour floating about.
Here's another rumour for the PS4 on Home argument. A picture:
What causes this to be linked to PS4 would be the Knack character slightly to the left of the logo (which is of course a PS4 exclusive) and this supposedly being the PS4's interface.
In any case, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. Let's just see how this all plays out.

Obviously fake. The black parts within the lettering shows that it's poorly edited.

............. the good news is we get a funky new Home Square.......
They didnt improve it once....
The best thing that they could do with home square, is give us the old original one back...

Legion, we've all discussed that it's fake a bunch of times in different threads :P
If you find the original, the Home symbol wasn't even there. :)
I saw that thread after I posted. If you mean this screenshot:
It's not fake at all.
There's a video of that exact screen shot at a press conference where they display it as an example of the PS4 interface
Go to 9 minutes.
Video is pretty hard to fake. :P However the confirmation of the screen shot doesn't mean much as things and plans change.
Edit: Why would Sony allow them to use fake screenshots at a conference they're a part of? :o That would be funny if it were true
Legion, go up a few posts. Companies use the wrong images in presentations all the time. The image they used was an image that was taken from another image and photoshopped.
On top of that there's another video where the guy fakes it by showing some of the gamestop footage then some of his monitor with the fake screenshot while the gamestop conference audio plays. Sadly there are people who get their jollies off to convincing people fake stuff is real, much like the people who make fan trailers for movies not yet released.
As for Sony "allowing" them, and being guilty of doing the same? It's more a case of that fraction of the image being overlooked. Home is an official service and no one really knows much about it outside its own community.

I edited but you missed it :P
Well, if that's true then that's hilarious. If Gamestop are doing a press conference in tandem with Sony and aren't provided the images by Sony then that seems highly unprofessional and a little hiarious :D
Ah well, as strange as it seems I'll take your word for it Ed. In any case, it can't be too long until we find out the truth of the matter.
What about the one that was supposed to be leaked from eurogamer
The above image is also fake. This "skyfall" person has decided to crop the name out of the image but the image belongs to FlammableAce who is a Home addict. His Twitter is here: http://twitter.com/FlammableAce
And the original image (which was also cropped) is here:
The original image is rather old as it is, and was taken with a 5MP camera phone.
So no HOME on PS4 then but keep spending, everyone? :(

The "leaked" eurogame picture is fan-made so I don't know why it is being posted as leaked.
Here's the image in all it's glory.

Holy s ... :smileysurprised:
Nightmare Yacht Apartment! Ohh yeah! I love that theyre finally making some creepy apartments, so much more entertaining than all the sweet sunset apartment! x)
If they announced tomorrow, that Home wouldnt be on the PS4, then it wouldnt stop me from spending money on Home. Then I just know, that I wont be getting the PS4 any time soon, lol.
Im having so much fun on Home, hanging around with amazing people. Tbh I dont care that much about the PS4, im not a hardcore gamer girl, I just need my Home and GTA V, then im satisfied ^^ :D
