Cannot install PS Vita Debug Driver

Hello,

 

I recently downloaded and installed the PlayStation Suite beta SDK, and downloaded the Development Assistant app onto my Vita. However, when I tried to deploy the action game demo to my Vita, it would not show in the list of devices.

 

A quick search of this forum suggested that the drivers were not installed, so I went to install the drivers manually. When I ran dpinst.exe, I got this message at the end of the wizard:

Next, I tried to install the driver via Add Hardware, and I received this more specific error message:

If it helps, I am running Windows XP via Boot Camp on a late 2008 Macbook Pro.
