Failed to launch PssStudio.

I know many of you slove this problem,and I read other threads to find solution,but it didn't work in my case.

I work on a laptop with win7 os and  version 0.98 pss.

My account is administrator and I set  the UAC to not notify and move the gtk# path to the start of the path environmental variable.

When I launch PssStudio,it crash and left the log with System.DllNotFoundException : could not load libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll under gtk# path.

Please tell me how to fix it.

First, reboot the PC now to make your PATH effective.
Then, open a command prompt(cmd.exe) and say "where libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll". It should show "C:\Program Files (x86)\GtkSharp\2.12\bin\libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll" if you or the installer set correct PATH for the GtkSharp.

I have done all you said ,the path is right, but the PssSudio still could not find libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll.

Hmm, it seems there's something wrong with libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll dependency..

In my case, i had start PSSStudio within VisualStudio debugger and i found i had to uninstall/wipe settings regarding my Gtk applications like GIMP or GStreamer.

I'm new with this method, I just see the log that many .dll has been load and suddenly application meet a System.DllNotFoundException (gtk-sharp.dll type Exception) then debugger exit.

In my laptop only Unity's MonoDevelop related to Gtk, should I uninstall it?

Unity 3.5 was happily coexisted with PSS SDK, IIRC.

This one met the same problem as mine saying that PssStudio 0.98 launch successfully after uninstall gtk related library and the different version of gtk cause that  issue.

This thread could be closed. I eventually launch PssStudio successfully! Just delete freetype6.dll in system32 folder and it run properly. Someone told me this method in other forum.Thanks to him!

im running PLaystation Suite SDK on windows Vista but i keep getting an error and cant run  PssStudio i can run the UI Composer but the error is only when i try a start PssStudio
