Linking dll to the project

5 Replies 291 Views Created 21-04-2012

Hello,

I just would like to know how to link dll files to my project.

I created a new project and just wanted to add the

SamplLib.dll (of the sample projects) to it

but I failed, the IDE did not find it, well I was not able

to  do:

using Sample;

from my main class.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Linking dll to the project

Thank you but this is what I did, and I can do:

using Sample;

But the IDE seems to not recognize it, I mean the compilation process

works but the auto completion doesn't... I guess it's a bug from the IDE.

Thank youy anyway.

Re: Linking dll to the project

Yes, it happen when I add Sce.Pss.HighLevel.UI too. Then I found use Display Option > Refresh can fix this.

Re: Linking dll to the project

Yes, the auto-complete does seem to be very slow (or broken) in MonoDevelop. I'm not sure if it's the IDE itself or something in the SDK causing the problem. It's the main reason I want Visual Studio integration, Intellisense saves soooo much time.
