Since day one, I've been unable to launch PSS Suite on my desktop (Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit) although UI Composer runs fine. I read on other threads that rebooting several times fixed the problem, but it didn't for me. I've also tried running as administrator, and that also didn't help.
When I try to run it, it appears in the task manager for a few seconds before disappearing and nothing further happens, not even an error message.
Any help is appreciated.

You might be experienceing problems with your 'Platform' system variable.

I tried deleting the Platform variable and restarting, but that doesn't seem to have helped. I also tried running it in compatibiltiy mode for XP SP3 as another thread suggested, but that also doesn't seem to have helped.
