hey hey
I'm very surprised that noone has mentioned "The Shoot"
I'ts an onrails shooter and if you can deal with the commentary and the cheese factor its a great game and you can pick it up for under a tenner
(£7.95 on anazon) Its also pretty fun to play with the kids.
Also consider House of the Dead Overkill which is due out soon™

actually time crisis 4 (which i just got) has an arcade version that has you on a track hiding behind objects, real simple basic 2 button play aim and shoot. BUT they also have a new story mode which is free control, its actally a bit easier to play in this mode with a controller rather than the gun, mostly because of the way the gun is designed, your hands get uncomfortable. I think if they made a new guncon gun with a nunchuck type attachment it owuld work alot better. But either way, there is a free moving play in the game, and it is quite difficult, but is a really cool new style of gamesplay.. its lke call of duty but with more control because you have to aim as well as move and look around. I would like to see a multiplayer implimented in this format (they may have on the new time crisis).
