Hiya

With Christmas coming up I have bought some move controllers for the kids and the party game.

Now I need something for my husband.

We love co-ops such as Time Splitters on the Ps2, so I'm wondering what to get that we can use the move controllers with?

I've heard Resident Evil 5 is good but then I've also read some good reviews for Time Crisis. The price difference is quite big with RE being about half the price, so is TC really worth paying more for?

Anyone got any other suggestions?

Also, do I really need to buy a navigation controller? And do you just need one or do you need one for each player?

It depends, if your husband is into serious shooters then a game called MAG is really good, its also not that expensive as it got released about 10 months ago.

Resident Evil 5 is also very good, however you have to buy either the "Gold Eddition" or the re-released "Move Eddition" you'll recognise the last version as it has a blue Move sticker in the top right corner.

Time Crisis is supposed to be quite good, however its an "on rails" shooter, and if your husband doesnt like those then it may not be the best gift to get him.

Thanks for that. Is that MAG move compatible? I can't find one that is on Amazon.

Also is it better to have the gun attachment too?

Thinking about it I'd better get 2 shooting games, one for the adults and one for the kids as I bet my boys will want to play (but they are all under 10)

MAG is online only game which has had MOVE added in an update.
Because MAG can't be played offline there was no needed for a re-issue of the BD yet.
So there won't be any MOVE logos on the MAG box. He/you will have to download that update before MOVE is useable on MAG.

Do anybody know, If they will be some new upgrade of old game or new FPS - shooting game for MOVE? Something like COD,  Battlefield 1943 etc? I know Killzone III is for MOVE, but I dont like modern wars so much as an old one.

It is a shame. I love these WWII games more, than all these modern, sci fi, ultraelectronic games. And as an user both PC and PS3 I hate controller on PS3 in FPS and RPG.

I'd go for RE5, great game, great multiplayer, good fun with your man!

Dead space extraction is also fun to play but its also a rail shooter and socom special forces is fun to play with the move but i do like socom and killzone 3 better with the sharpshooter for the move

Be warned MAG and Move is not a good combination, it's really just tacked on.

I would get him Killzone 3 and pre-ordered Child of Eden,

COE looks amazing with move also it's only £15 pre-order atm with a free t-shirt(amazon or play)
