I'm also having similar problems with the pointer going mental, but it only happens every now and then. All you need to do is switch off your controller and switch it on again and it'll work fine. It's a bit of a pain but not a dealbreaker as far as I'm concerned.

actually, there are only like ten people on this forum having problems, so NOT everyone is having problems. If you choose not to try what people are suggesting here, and 'giving up' then that is your problem, but don't bash the move or throw love to M$ cause your a little boy who can't work technology right. I have never had an issue with the ps move, EVER and bought it day 1. I also would like to issue the challange that you actually DON'T have move, but are an x box fanboy with no life, as to come on here and bash the move. You wanna talk about kinect, go to the forum for kinect, wanna call the move a wii rip off, well, other then you being an idiot, you have no knowledge, nor care to learn, about the PS Move and if its to hard for you to work, give it to an ADULT to help you. k?

new user of PSMove, only played maybe 2 hours : Planet Minigolf, Time Crisis, various demos, no movement detection or mad cursor problem (don't even know what the magneto thing is so it's on)

Just to advise that I returned the move and exchanged for a replacement and it now works perfectly.  So glad we tried it before Christmas.

I'm sick and tired of people claiming that the people who bash the move for its problems are xbox fanyboys. Certainly not me!!! I got rid of my xbox ages ago. I'm a exclusive Ps3 owner, with countless of hours put into MAG, Killzone 2, Modnation, Little Big Planet, Buzz, Resistance 2, Sports Champions, The Fight etc.. etc.. etc...

The fight for me simply does not calibrate right.

Here's something interesting though I measured how far from the ground my playstation eye is and it's 6 feet 8 inches, that;s pretty high, especially since the tutorial says it should be shoulder height. I'm wondering if this is the culprit for all of my problems

if so I'm screwed when it comes to move because my TV is hung on the wall.

Have the same problem with the the demos Start the Party and one more which I cant recall atm. My guess is becasuse they are demos.

Other of the demos work just fine and personally enjoyed Echocromeii, Sports Champion and Tumble.

Also Lab Rat which I downloaded worked great.

So the problem I reckon again shold be the demo game. Nothing with your controller.

I got Resident Evil 5 Gold Ediiton now and Move works great with it.

the only fan boys on here are the ones that attack people personally for not liking a peice of hardware that simply does not work correctly, such as you. You assume i havnt even got move, well i still have and guess what it still drifts all over the place, no matter what i do. The internet and more importantly the playstation forums are full of people claiming the same problem with move that i have, heck even the sony devs themselfs admit it, but no cus u may not have the problem it doesnt exist. you want to pay money for somthing as flawed as move then thats your call, as did i and regret it. grow up and realise that because i attack a piece of crap like move doesnt mean im a fan boy of xbox, i own all three current machines and playstation is my favourite, so i must be a playstation fan boy???, no just a gamer that knows a piece of crap when i see one. these forums are filled with ***** like you that assume assume assume, just because your itsy bitsy playstion feelings are knocked by some negative feedback. if you cant handle critisim then you should be playing with fisher price toys not big grown up consoles....
