Well they annouced the Move bundle for Resistance 3, NBA 2K12 would use the Move, then they announced Medievil Move: Deadmunds Quest would use Move.  Then they showed a movie of "up coming" Move games, one looked like a Spiderman game.  Then they showed Infamous 2 & LBP 2 would use Move with a future patch.

Then they had the bloke who is behind Bioshock Infinite and he said he was going to put Move into his game, Then they showed of the new Star Trek game, which again will use Move.

I'm really looking forward to the Trek game big time......and i agree, the move is only 10 months old so i fail to understand why its a failure, at this stage game developers will still have Move games in production after only 10 month after the product has been released....so I'm scratching my head at this whole "Its a failure"  frenzy some seem to be going through.......I'm personally here for the long run, i bought the hardware which was relatively cheap and it does what it says on the tin, and its only going to get better as time goes on and Dev release their move games.

You know what, your right. I mean I'm loving the Move games and controllers, as are loads of other people, but the amount of evidence you have brought to this discussion just proves the Move as a peripheral is a failure. /end sarcasm

hmm, i've counted my Move Compatible games after seeing this thread earlier today and i got 67 Move games.

and the last week i actually bought 5 ... so i really don't understand the whole complaining act  going on here.

the 4 games i got last week:

Dangerous Hunts 2011

Dance Dance Revolution New Moves

TRON Evolution (yes , old i know but i just got it now)

Dance On Broadway.

Fitness coach.

And thats without counting PSN games.

but yeeeessss, there is no games for Move... lol.

the thread OP said there was no games so i simply replied to that.

now if you want AAA games, Killzone 3, SOCOM4, LBP 2, UNDER SIEGE . thats a few of the ones that came out the last months.

this thread is more of a failure than the move is, i love move and there is enough games that support it to warrant owning it. kinect on the xbox has less games for it but i own that and enjoy it, give it bloody time to get the games for it.

Thing is was the same thing said for the first year to 18 months of the PS3's life? everybody said that the PS3 had no games, it wasnt as good as the Xbox blah blah blah blah and yet now it is an awesome console with loads of AAA titles.

People who are saying that Sony has given up on the Move and that their are no games should really give the thing a chance, look at some of the current crop of Move compatible games like MAG, Killzone 3, R.U.S.E, Echochrome 2, SOCOM, Sports Champions etc. I'm sure out of just that list everybody should find a gem.

I don't think the thread fails at all.

It's a very valid point of discussion.  It seems many people enjoy the Move but the question is not "do you enjoy the Move?".  Personally I think it will either fail at worst & at best just not really take off.

If Move games don't sell by the bucket load then the developers would find themselves in a catch 22 situation, do we make top titles for a piece of hardware that does not sell very many games?

This is all speculation but I don't believe the majority of PS3 users prefer to play games in this way.  Whether or not it fails completely or just remains as a very niche market I think Sony & MS panicked & reacted to the early Wii success.  If the Wii didn't exist I don't think the Move & kinect would either.
