Medieval Moves ( The kiddies Game )

[ Edited ]

Why could Sony not have made this an hardcore game as well as a kiddies title.

Adding a secondary game mode were the cartoon graphics are replaced with blood and guts mode.

The 1 to 1 controlls could have allowed head chopping and limb removal buy sword game play.

The bow and arrow controlls would allow for skull splitting or eyeball hitting fun.

Another wasted sales chance title.

Its another game were you are required to stand up normaly as well, ah bugger.

Re: Medieval Moves ( The kiddies Game )

So what you're saying is that gore = adult. Why can't adults enjoy cartoony, less violent games? There's a reason why the Mario games are the best selling series in the world. The assumption that violence makes games more mature is probably the main reason video games are considered as childish and immature.

Re: Medieval Moves ( The kiddies Game )

For me i really enjoyed the game for a period of time but then it got a bit boring because the story was quite short but the multiplayer is still quite fun
if you want a gory bloody game look at this http://www.iwaggle3d.com/2012/01/lamagama-announces-quadratum-mortis.html

Re: Medieval Moves ( The kiddies Game )

I play all my games on a projector. Zindagi however does not deem it fit to calibrate the move for the screen (as for example Killzone does) but has this stupid 3-point-calibration. For Sports Champions that was sometimes a little unprecise but for Medieval Moves it is a catastrophe. The controls are beyond terrible. There is nothing to be seen of the promised pinpoint-accuracy. Neither can you target via crossbow on screen nor can you throw dynamite precisely not can you even block incoming attacks, and really how would the game know from where the attacks are coming. It is probably optimized for a 40-60" display directly above the camera, but even so it doesn't explain the left-right-discrepancy that the game has. ANd yes i calibrated properly - a bazillion times and it is always the same. If I had kids I would not let them play this because it is really frustrating. You really don't need move when you there is no relation whatsoever between screen-position and targeted position.

I am really hoping for Sorcery. If Sorcery disapoints me than Move was really a total failure for me (The shooters work relatively well but i don't like to play them with move. So far Sports Champions - ironically - is the only Move-Game i really liked and it just wasn't worth the investment).

Keep your ears / eyes open for " Until Dawn " it might IMO remind people of Alan Wake. It is a PS-Move title, which could be shown at E3.:Scared:
