heres what i think..
Move = fun games designed for all ages, and there will be a larger selection of mature games.
Wii = disappointing equipment + lame platform games was the downfall of this console. (not to mention dodgy graphics)
i also read that Playstation turned down the Natal software http://playstationlifestyle.net/2010/03/28/sony-pa
The Wii was a boring console but then again it was aimed at casual gamers, hopefully Move will own ![]()

It won't kill off the Wii but it may put Nintendo back into feeling the pressure of competition like they did back in the NES, SNES and N64 days. With the Wii they kind of snuck under the radar while everyone was talking about the XBOX 360 and PS3. It may force Nintendo's hand to push forward a release of a successor to the Wii.
For me the differences will be that the Playstation 3 is a brand that doesn't rely on one feature heavily like the Wii does to sell it. The PS3 has a good catalogue of games that doesn't require the MOVE controller, it appeals to both young and old gamers, recreational and more hardcore types of gamer. The technology is more precise for the MOVE controllers where as the Wii was a huge let down. Rather than have to perform realistic movements sports games required a quick flick of the wrist with was unrealistic and on the whole disappointing for gamers. This is the biggest difference for me, having to actually mimic real life movements for say golf or boxing perhaps as well as table tennis which we have seen in promo video's. All of this and looking great in HD as well as 3D in the future.
I know a lot of people who have fallen for the Wii fad. They've gone out and bought the system and then packed it away apart from the odd occasion when they have friends around (being a more mature gamer not all of my friends do actually play games on consoles). What I like about MOVE is that not only will it be fun to play when friends who do play games visit but it will also be usable for more hardcore games like SOCOM . I'm not looking for MOVE to replace my controllers I'm looking for MOVE to enhance my PS3 gaming so that when I'm done shooting people in Modern Warfare 2 or Battlefield Bad Company 2 using my DualShock 3 I can fire up Tiger Woods or Everbody's Golf or perhaps another sports title and enjoy the MOVE controller too.

I agree with other people, it won't kill off the wii, i've got a wii, but i'm buying more games for my ps3 than my wii as there is more variety on the ps3 than the wii, in my opinion there is not enough quality on the wii, saying that i'm getting mario galaxy 2 next week, which will probably be the best game on the console anyway, i'm looking forward to the playstation move, looking forward to sports champion, that lights out street fighting game and maybe brumswick bowling
