Re: PS Move + Resident Evil 5 Move question

It's the same as the Wii.only real difference I can think of ,is you do lose the 90 degree turn because the quick weapon select is mapped onto the d-pad.

[ Edited ]

i completed re5:gold using my move AND MY ADVICE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM THE GUN ATTACHMENT for this game, it makes it just too awkward, instead i just used my trusty navi and move and buttons on my move (for example x for running 180 turning etc)

Re: PS Move + Resident Evil 5 Move question

I got the Move at Christmas and was hoping that RE5 Gold would give me an idea of how FPS would play using move. Unfortunately I found RE5 with Move a bit awkward as you don't use the Move to look around; it only controls the aim once looking down the weapon. So you can't walk/run using the control pad in one hand whilst concurrently looking around for targets with the move in the other hand. So I was a bit disappointed.....Until I tried the Move out with MAG. Yes it took a while to get proficient with the Move as I'm used to FPS games with the DS3 (I've spent days if not weeks playing CODs 4, 5, 6 & 7 and BFBC2), but I've now used the Move from level 0 to 28 on MAG and it's awesome. The Move is starting to feel like using a mouse did when I used to regularly play FPS games on the PC. It took me a long time to get proficient using the DS3 controller in FPS games when I switched from PC with keyboard+mouse to PS3; and it takes a similar amount of time to switch from DS3 to Move. But ultimately it is worth it. The jury's out on whether Move gives a definitive advantage over DS3 in FPS games, but Move is definitely 100% more fun to use when it's applied properly (as in MAG). Roll on the release of Killzone 3!

Re: PS Move + Resident Evil 5 Move question

I found Move with resident evil 5 gold just amazing, so much so i platinumed the game with it because it simply made aiming so much quicker and more accurate than the controller could ever do.

I hope Res 6 has Move compatibility from day one.

Re: PS Move + Resident Evil 5 Move question

good to read all the positive post regarding move and RE5 and MAG. Picked up Move last week haven't had a chance to give it a go but will pick up RE5 gold edition next week.
