PS2 Eye for Move?

Hello all you informative people,

I've been thinking of getting the Move controllers for my ps3 but was wondering if the old eye camera I had for my ps2 would work?

I've not tried it in the ps3 to see whether it works with the console yet so I may just be suggesting something totally useless.

not sure i haven't tried it, but i am thinking no because when you start a ps move game it asks you to turn the dial to the blue circle and the ps2 eye camera dosn't have a blue dial, i might try it later also you should be bothered that much because the starter pack comes with the ps eye in the box anyway.

It wont be able to track the glowing orb on the Playstation Move as it wasent designed to, everytime you enter a game youll get a message something like Playstation Move not detected.

It will work for video chat but not move games.
