Re: Playstation Move Any Good?

You do not need the nav, you can just use your existing dual shock in your left hand and the motion controller in the right.  Games like Heavy Rain and RE5 that use a nav controller are played sitting down so a dual shock or sixaxis is fine for now, you may want a nav in the future if games that have you standing and jumping about need an additional controller as it will be easier to hold the nav than a normal controller.

I LOVE MOVE!!

Re: Playstation Move Any Good?

You only really need 2 move controllers and a copy of Sports Champions at the moment I reckon BM.

I did get 2 Nav controllers also, only because I can't see the price dropping much over the next few months, and I might as well get them now while they're available before everyone starts getting hold of them for KZ3 etc.

The move is good fun - not sure how long the novelty will last with the current games, but I can see it really shining in the future with proper fully fledged titles. We need a good RPG with Move support where you can slash your sword fo' real ! :smileyhappy:

Imagine if in the RPG you wanted to pick up a weapon or something, reach out with move then pull the trigger to grab and pull it back to you.  Could be same thing for picking weapons and items in inventory.

Also you could switch from sword and shield to bow by putting your hands behind your back the same way you activate taunts in Gladiator Duel.

Re: Playstation Move Any Good?

An RPG would probably have the best scope for utilising Move to the max. Like you say - you could pick up items from the ground by actually bending down to pick it up. If you had a bow as a weapon, it could be a la archery from Sports Champions....the sword and shield could be like the Gladiator section etc. Even using a staff could be fun !

Either a JRPG like White Knight, or a westernised one like Oblivion would be so perfect for it. Maybe White Knight 2 will get Move support ?

Killzone 3 is pretty good if you are using PS Move ...but i don't know if you can use it while playing online too...
