Can some explain to me why and how and whe ndoes the playstation move change color?

I am not to sure but I believe it changes colour depending on what game you play, so if your playing MAG the PlayStation Move controller may be purple, and if your playing Killzone 3 the PlayStation Move controller may be blue.

It depends on the game. Every game has it owns color.

It also varies depending on the lighting and colours in your room it does this so it is easier for the system to track the controller by selecting a colour that gives the best contrast.

Mine will always be the same colour for the same game, so KZ3 is always red for me, sports champs and the fight lights out will be first controller purple second light blue etc etc

The colours of the move globe topic. has been done allready.
The developer chooses what ever colour they want for their game.
HEAVY RAIN = red and blue
RE5GE = pink
MUBI film application. = Green

Developers have full controll over colour selection.

I've only ever used it for 2 games of mine, Tumble that's always pink and Dead Space: Extraction that's always blue.

I'm sure when I have played heavy rain sometimes its blue but sometimes its pink or red. Seems to relate to background - in this case colour jumper I had on - so has best contrast.

The colors are assigned to the player number. Player 1 = Blue, Player 2 = Pink, etc.....
