Just got it today from shopto and I am very happy with it!
There is a lot more weight to it than it looks from all the vids, it feels well made and like it could take a few hits to the ground.
It has raised my accuracy in killzone 3 a lot, before I was just aiming from the hip with the move controller but now I find myself looking down the barrel at the screen.
If had to complain it would be these 3 minor things.
1. Its that nasty red colour
2. Navigation controller slips a little
3 .could have done with some iron sights on it
other than that I would fully recommend this to anyone wanting to enhance there gaming experience.
hows the custom button mapping done ? is there software for it or .. . . ?
does is also play other shooters "TC/The Shoot ?"
thanks in advance
nice one mine is coming from play tomorrow, it was £5 cheaper than shopto.
Game station etc might not be selling them because of replica gun laws.
Just got mine through the post :smileyvery-happy: | Dont the eu get the killzone and socom decals as i never got any in the box:smileysad:
Quiet happy with it myself, my arm gets tired quite easy so i've only done the shooting range with the sharpshooter on KZ3. No time to play properly until the weekend, but a good purchase!
It's a thumbs up from me too! :smileywink:
I had a good hours practice earlier today in a Botzone match on KZ3 to get used to it.
The accuracy is superb, although you do need to take your time playing around with the sensitivity settings to make sure they're just right for your style.
I'm looking forward to giving The Shoot a go now to see how it handles that!
Its all about the games you have or plan to get.
There is quite a few attachments for move dont know which to get.
I really like it now, i find it difficult to turn/move but aimining is really good.
I can now also calibrate it 1st time every time now perfectly.
if right handed sit to the left of the screen so the gun is in the middled rather than you.
I moved the camera from the top of my telly to on top of the stand, so it much lower this has made a huge difference.
No drifting and accurate cursor.
Here in Argentina they released the gray and orange one.
My first impression while trying it in the Killzone demo is that it's great. I can't understand how it would be better to play an FPS with a DS3 instead of something that looks like the real article.
Having played Medal of honour for the WII (which actually was great) with a gun attachment, I can say that this Sharpshooter gun is an big improvement, both in accuracy and functionality. And it looks kinda like an MP5 which doesn't hurt either.
Another thing I like is that it has some weight and that helps you aim and also with the reality factor, specially if you like to play standing.
And it was a great idea to add that button below the magazine to simulate cliping it in.
I also tried it with Resident Evil Gold edition and here the results were really bad. I would say it's almost unplayable with the Sharpshooter. With the control layout which doesn't allow you to re-map, I think I will stick with the DS3.
