mostly all of the bad reviews were made from people expecting the game will instantly transform them into badass streetfighters. they totally missed that it's a personal trainer with a fight game as motivation.

i actually had to buy this game because 2 months of sports champions made my right arm growing evidently more muscle than the left arm. :-)

with this game i can keep focus on the left arm now.

Re: The Fight: Lights Out Review

This game is a blast. I read some of the reviews that stated it was hard to land punches because it was hard to judge the distance from your fighter to your opponent, i found this true also. Then i got my 3dtv and wow what a difference! It is now easier to judge the distance from my oponents face(just as in real life) and which angle of punch to best use to land the most punches.

Online play has got to be the best aspect of the game. When using move and 3d together when fighting an online opponent my adrenaline starts pumping as if i were in a real life fights. Its amazing, just without the messed up face the next day, lol.

Does anyone have any tips on online fighting? There were a few fights where i landed at least 10X more punches than my opponent and still lost. And they were regular punches i was receiving, no special moves. Does the single player statistics carry into multiplayer also? Ex strength, chin? Do the cheat add on like bottle of win carry to multiplayer also?  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: The Fight: Lights Out Review

Online play... Build your stats up and slap. Yes, slap. Tactics count for nothing. Slap hard until you run out of stamina, backpedal till you get it back, more slapping.

Re: The Fight: Lights Out Review

Thanks for all the tips guys! I'm really getting into this game!  Amazing feeling beating someone down online.

Semaphia i guess slaps would work as the move controller would read as a fast strong hit, but it might not look very cool doing it. Definately would fight like that in front of the chicks, lol. But if i'm getting my butt whooped in a fight i might have to break out the slaps, thx.

RockyB2b nice videos. You got some skill there. Have you ever trained for boxing in real life?

Re: The Fight: Lights Out Review

I finally got around to playing this yesterday and I am loving it!

I have fought the first 3 opponents in the first pyramid and 'NAILED' all three however I do find it tricky to land punches at times and sometimes even if I do, it is more like I am just stroking their face lol.

I am paying for it now. My arms, shoulders and back are killing and it hurts to move!! lol.

Re: The Fight: Lights Out Review

aye, i read a rather scathing review of "the fight" somewhere online too

but id already gotten it b4 that lol

i was a bit annoyed that i couldnt get the head tracking to work well

but honestly when your in a fight digging the face of someone

you dont really notice what you dont have lol

me? i really like this game, and the fact it gives you a kcal count :smileyhappy:

after the first time i played, (which was mostly in the training room sparing)

i was sweating like mad lol needless to say my top came of after the second fight lol

and yes, the next day my arms and back were aching...  but i got away with blaming it on my cold lolz

i had another blast on it last night and im really getting into it now :smileyhappy: upped my stats a bit won a few fights in the first venue, did some training, and again i felt like i was melting, lol

(i must be a lazy bugger to be so surprised at sweat dripping from my head mid fight lol)

still, flaws aside im liking this game very much !!

so get in there and get swinging!!!  XD
