It's about the same price as a wii with the motion plus. ( depends where you buy it, for example could only find the black wii console). And you get a WHOLE new variety of games.
Move controllers = £30 each. x3 = 90.
Starter pack = £50
Nav controllers = £18 x 4 = £72.
Grand total : £212
Wii = £115 ( Black console, Wii Resorts, Motionplus controller)
Wii controllers = £11 x 3 = £33.
Wii Numchucks = £10.50 x 4 = 42.
Wii motion plus = £9 x 3 = £27
Grandtotal £217.

Well i will list the actual price for stuff from Play, and not from any third party sellers.........
For the Move we will just assume everybody needs the starter pack, and for the Wii everybody goes for the cheaper nunchuk and controller.
Move wand 3 X £27.99=£83.97
Starter pack 1X £39.99=£39.99
Nav controller.4X£17.99=£71.96
Grand total £195.92
Wii Bundle(Black) £114.99 =£114.99
Wii motion plus 3X£29.89 =£89.67
Wii nunchuks 4X £10.49. =£ 41.96
Grand total £ 246.62
These are more accurate figures.![]()

It's a fair point comparing prices.
The Move is expensive if you want enough for a family.
However I haven't found too many games you need 4 controls at 1 given time for.
I only have two and just the Move controllers.
I haven't got 1 navigation and never found it an issue.
In fact the only game I used a controller with is Top Spin 4 and I just hold my normal controller side on and use the D Pad to run around.
I imagine some other games may differ, just speaking on my experience.
The price of Move was my initial grievance, but since I paid the initial layout, I bought another controller and guns for pretty cheap second hand in Game and Blockbusters and the likes.
I think some will always be disappointed, bare in mind the Wii is actually predominantly a family console, it is aimed at and thus its main produce is family gaming.
The PS3 is not, however due to the Wii's success, they ventured into the technology and it has some nice forays so far, Sports Champion and others. However it is not an abundance of titles.
I think to anyone despondent with the Move or even those thinking of buying it, need to come to terms with the reality that it is worthwhile if you will be happy with 4-5 fairly decent game as opposed to 20 stellar titles.
Either way I tend to swing moods every few months, I never use it, then I will spend a few weeks playing it.
Currently Sports Champion, Time Crisis, Top Spin 4 are getting time on the Move for me and by all accounts I enjoy them.

To be honest i got the PS-Move for family fun. Which was what i baised my needs from. But after seeing just how much more the PS-Move could do for our families gaming needs the experience from PS-Move just grew.
I have now played Killzone 3 with PS-Move ( it is great ). Never thought myself playing a game like that with the PS-Move.
Then i played M.A.G ( that was pretty cool ). It even brought new life into my gameplay.
Then i played games like " Top Darts / Flight Control HD " which needs very good accuracy in gameplay which to my amazement PS-Move worked like a dream.
Now after playing games like " Bowling / Move Fitness / Minigolf / Racker Sports / Start The Party 1 & 2 / Tiger Woods / Pool 2 / ect ... i can honestly say this. Getting the PS-Move was well worth it. We got more out of the motion controllers than what we ever thought possible. IMO the game selection will only get better as time goes by, but right now there is enough game selection for our families needs
