how can a re-download the Animus edition DLC on a new ps3.

I only have the Online Pass in my history, but nothing else.

is that all I need or is there something more. What do I need to do.

The DLC is a service paired to your account, there's nothing to download. The DLC will be unlocked the moment you load up the game while logged into PSN. If you want to be sure of this, then select  'Account Management  > Transaction Management > Services List' from the PS Network menu on the XMB when your logged into PSN and you should see it listed.
