An Idea for SONY on the recent PSN changes.

SONY have announced that as of the 18th of November everything purchased off the store will only be valid on two systems. This has caused anger as many psn users have more than one PS3 and so they will have to buy the same content twice.

Well I have an idea for SONY, why not release content that is valid on 5 systems but have the same content that is valid on just 2 systems but cheaper. Then people with more than 2 systems can have the content on all there systems and people with 1 or 2 PS3s will benefit as it would be cheaper. What do you think, a good or bad idea. Please post your thoughts and try and make it popular so SONY notice.

Ridiculous idea of Sony to make it only 2.

They're doing this because of the MW3 map packs scenario again

Re: An Idea for SONY on the recent PSN changes.

It wont happen gamesharers have screwed it up for honest people who own more than two consoles to be honest the price of full retail PSN downloads of £49.99 entices gamesharers to split the cost so sony/developers are another factor to point the blame at.

to be honest this has been clearly coming for a while now, i dont think its right that it has occured, and id only support it if dlcs for 1 example see cuts on wat they cost from now on, its quite obvious whats going on here, sony need to grow a pair, after seeing substantial falls in share values they've have clearly given into the pressure being forced upon them by popular third party devs, i think its really just getting pathetic now, considering current economical states its ridiculous that they don't think they're already being greedy enough :/

Re: An Idea for SONY on the recent PSN changes.

I can't see the point really,  You can download dlc/games on to any number of machines but you can only have them active on 2 at any one time.

If you do have more than 2 machines (myself included I have 4) why would you need it on all of them at once.

And it's really no biggie to just deactivate an account before you go to the next room and start up again.  It takes less than 3 minutes in total.

Personally even though I am in the affected category I still don't mind this move.

Re: An Idea for SONY on the recent PSN changes.

What i wanna know is how this will effect the Vita... I have a Playstation Plus, ive got a barrel of awesome free content on my PS3, ive all the Mini's on my PSP, does this now mean i need a whole new account for my Vita and loose out on all the Mini's?

That would be all fine and dandy, if not for the fact that Sony has been known to suspend accounts that get activated/deactivated too often. As you can imagine, yes, that WOULD be a major problem unless they wise up and stop doing that.
