Re: Anybody get this message yesterday?

Yes, I did get this and I've been getting so many more that when doing so, has not in anyway given me any rewards.  So, I've been asking individuals to please not send me anymore of these or until they have had checked into these e-mails much further.  Yes, earlier I had fell victim to some of these but I highly doubt that Sony has these capabilities to monitor every use who recieves these due to other issues that they have to deal with.  Also, if Sony really wanted to give us rewards, wouldn't they send such messages to our personal e-mail addresses?  I'm hoping though that Sony would find the time to please send out an e-mail to all users that these are fake and please do not answer to them.

Can you imagine, how many people have receive these, how many people are responding to these and how much that it is clogging up the e-mail servers or the message servers for all users?  This creates such a great overhead for Sony that the increase of raising costs would be substantial due to haveing to just hire indivduals to monitor or do more System Server Network Maintenance and would also cause more down time for them.  So, think of it first before actually copy & pasting the message out to all of your users and how much time individuals took to do it, as you're only able to send to 12 e-mail users at a time.  I don't know if Sony is running Windows Servers, {Which I don't think so due to Sony PS3's are only compatible to a FAT32 format} or maybe they're running Linux, or Unix, more energy efficient & less overhead on maintenance & costs.  Actually right now, I'm shooting Rabbits.. lol

If this is true, then please by all means send me verifiable evidense along with contact information of a person from Sony who would be willing to talk to me via telephone land line as I do not have a cell phone.  If If I did have a cell phone with me or on me, it would be used for emergency purposes only.

Sincerely,

BC-AD-Infinity

Re: Anybody get this message yesterday?

I've had several of these spam messages too. They claim to be workers off Sony and due to downtime their giving away $50 in return. OK so 1. Am not American 2. There has been no downtime. Anyone who clearly falls for these messages are silly as the spammers are pretty rubbish, by reading it you can tell their fake. Sony need to do something about this before it gets out off hand. BTW the worst thing you can do is reply to them.

Re: Anybody get this message yesterday?

I just got it but the spelling seemed too off. So I came here and most people r saying it's spam and if it is whoever sent it shud be sued 4 impersonation of a board executive. I am very furious about this because this has been happening entirely 2 often with all the PSN shutdowns due to hacking of their network and now I have to worry about this ridiculous spam!

Re: Anybody get this message yesterday?

Just to confirm guys we would never send you messages via PSN, this is for communication between users.  Any official messages would be sent to your sign in ID e-mail address.
