Hi, I bought a PS3 just a week ago and I checked this console hasn't a good online service. Why? Because if you play a Call of Duty, online, on Xbox 360, you'll never see cheaters, instead, if you play online on PS3 you find only cheaters. I'm playing CoD: MW 2 now, I'm afk while I'm writing this, and the match before this was hacked. Play CoD 4? In all games you have speed hack and you die by nade launcher with fast fire and unlimited ammo. Is this right? Can I complain?

Well considering MW 1 & 2 is the responsibility of IW & activision coming on here whining is pointless.

dude, you have no idea what ur talking about. the problems on COD MW and MW" are to do with IW etc, not Sony. Sony cant do anything about it, its up to the developers. calling the online service bad because of one game being flawed is unfair

There are cheaters & hackers on all Formats of MW 1 & 2 don't delude yourself to think otherwise.

And considering all the cheats that have started being used on the ps3 version have only come in to effect more over the past couple of weeks.

I just can't understand why on Xbox 360 it's hard to find cheaters while on PS3 it's too easy :\ You say it's a IW's problem, but other people say it's a Sony's problem, because Sony doesn't ban who uses cheat. Now, I don't know what do I have to say, I just know if I play on Xbox 360 I can play without cheaters, instead, if I play on PS3 I can't play. Is it a IW's problem? Ok.

Xbox Live is a payed for service therefore Microsoft are obligated to take care of these people,

Even more so than Sony are on their online, as theirs is free. This is one point to your question.

The other is: until a few weeks ago it was hard to find cheaters on MW2 on the Ps3, without deliberately looking for them (in my experience anyway) but due to this whole Geohot incident the game is now rife with these exploiters due to the game's popularity. This doesn't mean that the game was all peachy beforehand though, however it was playable.

Imo it's neither Sony's not IW's fault as no-one could have forseen this. This doesn't mean that there aren't lessons to be learnt though.

InfinityWard needs to implement a feature to back up/save peoples stats and Sony need to implement a decent report system with hacking/glitching/cheating as a report option.

I won't blame you for thinking the service is bad as you're new to the PS3's online, however understand that you joined at a time when the walls have come down, sotospeak.

lol the game is dire anyway, if you have it on 360 why bother buying for ps3,personally i sold the tripe for the issues you are getting and brought MoH and wont be turning back,plus IW are on microsofts payroll so they wont be fixxing in a hurry
