Rif.: Borderlands GOTY problem.

Hi,

 

I purchased Borderlands (it did not say GotY Edition) yesterday for $19.99 from the PSN Store, but the info still says that it has "additional content that will keep you playing for hours" or something of that sort. I am still downloading the main game, but I do not see any additional content pending for download.

 

Exactly what additional content is/should be included? The only reason why I purchased it was because of that "additional content" statement.

Here is what it specifically states: "One of the best games from 2010 with additional content that will keep you in loot and gore for hours, pick up the Full Game now."

I thought that was a good deal for $19.99. If it does not include additional content, then that is the fault of the person who is supposed to update the info.

I'm pretty sure that that description doesn't refer to the game of the year edition as the 'additional content' it describes is either the extra quests, guns, areas in the main game or the extra DLC packs you can purchase individually. Also the description should state Game of the Year edition or bundle and, although i'm not sure on the $ prices on the US Store i would expect the cost to be higher for the full edition.

I'm here reporting the same problem I'm afraid.

It's the first issue I've had with the PSN Store, but this is quite annoying, and I hope it can be sorted out quickly.

I bought the Borderlands GOTY bundle from the Irish PSN Store on the 05/10/2011 for €14.99 (in a PSN sale) and it was working perfectly. However, I hadn't played it before Christmas, and tried it today.

When I selected it from the XMB, I was told it had expired. (The license states that it started on the 5th of January and ended on the 5th of January.)

The main game is no longer in my downloads/ purchased list (although the additional DLC is) and when I searched Borderlands on the store, neither the standard or GOTY editions had the bought icon displayed.

As I regard this bundle as the best value purchase I have made from the PSN, and one of the most fun, I hope this can be fixed for me soon.

If anyone at SCEE needs any further info, I'd be happy to provide it.
