Hello all.

Well i recently started playing Burnout paradise and what a game......

After realising that I had a new companion for the coming weeks i decided to make my experience much better by downloading a couple of the packs from psn, i wish i ha not bothered. After adding £15.00 gbp to my wallet i downloaded 2 packs from the store. I paid £3.99 for the ''all cars'' download & £9.99 for the big surf island download. I could not wait to test but to my surprise no new cars and no access to surf island, GUTTED.

After several more installations of the update I realised that something was wrong and afetr checking the games offical website i heard something about problems when purchasing content from a UK account when playing an import game. I did not buy this game from new but bought it for £7.00 on Ebay and after taking a closer look at the games box i realied that it was a region 3 game with plenty of jap writing on the back.

Now i love this game and i love the downloads but im stuck inbetween and am obviously not happy that not only have i waisted £15,00 nearly but that also I will not be able to ever download these updates unless i create a japanese psn account and download them from there.

Please can anyone assist me in getting my dl's to work my my game, i bought from the UK psn store with a jap, region 3 game. If i have absolutely  np chance of doing this without buying new dl's or a new verion of the game, does anyone know of a way to get a refund on the UK downloads or making them work on my game.

My forst option is to have the dowloads working but if not possible what else do i do? Obviously i do not want to be down £13.99 for nothing.......PLEASE HELP ME......sulk.

Best thing to do would be pick up a cheap 2nd hand E.U version somewhere. And always always check the region of a game before buying it or DLC.

Well iv just purchased the game from the psn store. Its the first time I have EVER purchased a 100% completely digital FULL GAME but at least my downloads will work now. I figured that i would be better of going in this drection and simply selling my current ''physical game'' on ebay to try and get some cash back. As long as i can play the game who cares if it is a blu ray or a downloaded full game. well thanks for the input due.......Does anyone want to buy a region 3 fully working (except for purchased downloadable content) version of burnout paradise. Note that all the updates and everyting worked fine and  had no probs with the game at all. The only prob was that purchased content dl'd from the uk psn will not nerge with import games, apart from that that this jap game is no diff than the uk version - updates install fine - purchased downloads will not- so if you dont intent on buing any extra content then this may be your lucky day, lol. Oh sorry forgot to say - also add £3.00 postage and packaging (anywhere in the world). Sorry is advertising allowed here?, not intentional.....
