Its wierd that 9 Ps3 and terms of use only allows 5 Ps3 to be used the activation thing. If you deactivate Ps3 they will delete all files that where downloaded from that account

My account has bin used on a few of my friends systems (I think about 3 or 4) but 9 that's crazy.I think (and this is just my theory) someone has got on to your PSN account in whatever way and used your account for free DLC across different systems (maybe the hackers friends) and then you got your account back, but then as it went through the system they found out its bin activated in 9 systems and banned you you should definitely make some phone calls fast because this is unfair I do like playstation but I must admit they have a lot of security leaks.

If their records cans show when these other 8 accounts were.registered and when any duplicate DLC was.dowloaded it will hopefully show that it was done on or around the time you.reported.your account being hacked. Depending on what evidence they have you should be able to fight it if you're legit. Good luck.

Just to say that we are not aware of any "hack" that reveals a user's password. OP - I'd be very interested to know if you have ever given your password to another user - be it friend, family or otherwise.

This is EXTREMELY unfair, that a law abiding PSN account is being completely wiped out because of someone else. i have aroun £150 worth of DLC, which will be rendered unusable, and saves that will be completely useless too. what should i do!?!

£150 is a lot of money - Storys like this really make me think twice about whether i should continue downloading games off the store.

What if my details are somehow got from my computer (i have to put my details to login into  these forums) - They are many viruses about that record your keystrokes - Such as passwords etc.

If it can happen to peoples bank acounts,it can certainly happen on these types of forums.

Maybe SONY could come up with a system where they can transfer content to a new account.?
