Re: COMPLETE DISGRACE

Use a virtual keyboard for inputting passwords on your computer and don't use the same passwords and emails for different websites and services :\

Re: COMPLETE DISGRACE

Bottom line, never share you password, dont even bother game sharing, even the dlc

One of my work mates was offering to share mw2 dls, but I told him no, considering if he gets banned, I would also get banned

There no way the ps3 can be hacked, and this includes any password, anyone who claims, oh my ps3 was hacked, and they got my password, need to tell us the truth, who have you shared your details with

Use a random email l address which you will never use online

I feel for you OP :smileysad:

Sony's customer service centre are a complete joke, they seem to punish loyal fans that upgrade/buy new Sony systems, instantly accusing every caller of gamesharing.

If sony didn't have such crappy security systems then gamesharing wouldn't be an issue in the first place.

Re: COMPLETE DISGRACE

The only reason gamesharing is an issue is because Sony have given you the chance to redownload content you have purchased onto a new console in the event your console fails. People abuse this generosity by gamesharing.

Sony could go with the option of not allowing additional downloads of content to new systems if they so wished. The gamesharing issue has nothing to do with PS3 security. That is a completely separate issue.

Xbox 360 - You can have it on one system at a time for offline play and as many others as you like as long as the tag that purchased the content is online on that system.

One of the few things it does better than PS3.

I'm all for freedom of redownloading my content but when you get treated like a thief by gormless reps, it's  not worth it

Re: COMPLETE DISGRACE

I've never had to deal with Sony reps in regards to bans or anything but in my other experiences of them, I have always found them to be helpful :/

That highlighted segment  is complete twaddle  mate -  Nearly 4 years before PS3 online security was breached as bad as X360 (X360  was breached much sooner - check your facts).

The shear amount of hacking, Piracy & gamesharing that goes on with X360  since the console's release  is probably why they are less strict on it's users.

SONY has rules & T&C's   &  They actually enforce them.   Stick to the rules = No problems.
