I turn on my brothers ps3.. i pick his user ( the only one on the ps3 ) i then go over to 'PlayStation Network' and it says 'Sign In' .. So i use my online ID and sign in because he hasnt put his online ID in yet ( because its new and he hasnt got round to it ) . But heres the point !

I need to change the ID from mine to his! and of yet i havent been able to do so. Which is stupid if u ask me because whats the point in being able to change your email address in the sign in section, if you cant sign in on with somebody elses ID. Can i delete my ID so that he can use his ID or is it completely set to my ID now ? It gave me no warning that this wouldnt be changable in the future !

Can anyone help ?! ....

Set up a fresh user under manage user on the left hand side then set your logging details under that.

A dont know how to do all this ? and does this make it possible for ma bro on his user to sign in using his ID or his profile always going to have my online ID on it ??

If i remember correctly if you go all the way to the left hand side of the XMB (PS3 main menu) there should be a option to create new user, create a new user with your name then after its set up go to the right hand side of the XMB to the network section, click on create PSN ID then sign/log in with existing account.

It may not be exact as above though but that should be the general stuff

and will that take the ID off ma bro's profile and put it on the one that i will have just created ye ? + if so i cannot thank you enough for your help !!!!

.. this doesnt work ,, it goes as far as using your email address for the account you want to use and then when you put the details in it comes up saying you already have that on this ps3 ,, so i clicked on help and it says that this only works if you have an adress thats on a different ps3 ,, which it is ,, but is alredy on this one as well + now i have an account on his ps3 what doesnt need to be there ,, can i get rid of this or is this another thing that i can't delete ,, upto now iv had no problems with the ps3 and have ALWAYS said it has been much better than the 360 which i also have but now am starting to change my mind ....

As far as I'm aware you should just be able to remove the details on your brothers user, type his back in  and set to remember log in details i think.

nope ,, i have just tried again in it says "the sign-in ID (email address) or password is incorrect."

I'd assume that's a mistake inputting the log in details then rather than it not being able to do it full stop,sorry i cant be of anymore help mate.
