Right Ill tell you from the start:

You said that you already have one user on there which is made for you. Now you want your brother to have his own ID yes?

Well this is what you have to do:

  1. Go create a new user, which is found on the 1st column on the XMB ( PS3 Menu )
  2. Then log into that user by clicking X, you will be asked to log out of the current one, click yes again.
  3. Now right on the XMB until you see something  like "Sign up for the Playstation Network". It will be under the network tab.
  4. Once youve clicked on it, and dont choose the existing account. Make a new one.
  5. Once your there, it will ask you for a ID, email address, password etc. This will be your brothers account.
  6. Once youve finished the setup, it will ask you to visit the playstation store. Press O so you wont go to the PS store.
  7. Now go to the users again and you will see you have 2 users, one for yourself and one for your brother.
  8. Once you have turned on your ps3, it will ask you to pick one of those, so when your brother goes on he will go on his. When you go on it will go on his.

If you dont want your user on there, sign in to yours, go to account management and find the deactivate PS3 system. It wont do anything to do ps3. It will only take one away from the 5 possible users you can have on any ps3. Once youve done that, go back to the users column on the XMB, press Triangle and delete account.

 Any problems post again.

Urgh text speak, is using proper English grammer so difficult? Anyway onto your problem, you can't remove your sign in details from his account, as far as I am aware your login details are locked to his username for the PS3, for him to have his login details he would need to create his own account, as far as I am aware there is no other way round it.

ou cant change you psn id but what you can do if you want to use your friends id, assuming you have their permission, is to add a new user account to your playstation and use their sign in details to add their account to your playstation.
