So my original hotmail account I used to set up and login with for PSN has been locked by hotmail, but I've since changed to gmail anyway... but when trying to change to login email to my gmail account it throws up this;

Is it possible to change it to a gmail account? Or is this just an error becasue of the current wonky state of PSN... I have since changed the login to another active hotmail account which did work, so is it just gmail?

You know what, i tried the same thing and got the same message. I then tried to think as to where i would have used this particular email address on PSN and for the life of me cannot think of anything.

Been trying to come up with a password for it all day and it just won't accept anything, and now here you are, having the same problem

I must add however, my son is registered on PSN through one of my other gmail accounts so it did used to work.

My Windows Live account is no longer secure, An i too would like to change to my gmail account, though for some reason it is telling me that i am not allowed.

Does any one know of the reason as to why i am unable to use my Gmail account ??

Just made another Windows Live Account, Worked fine, Guess PSN don't like Google ?

I changed my hotmail address to a gmail the day PSN came back on with no problems at all.

I also had no problems with changing mine to Gmail either.

I did only recently make it though just for PSN, it seems better for that.
