What do we reckon? We already have 1, 2, 4 & Adventure. I can see Sonic 3 & Sonic & Knuckles hitting the store at some point alright, but will we get the game that combines the two? (the best of the series imho) The only platform I have it on at the moment is the PS2 (ew..), so I'd really like to see it on the store.

Anybody else keen on this??

And I agree that sonic 3 & knuckles (the two combined) is the best of the series!

I hope so because it's my favourite in the series too but I can't see it happening for a while. It's not included in the six games SEGA is releasing to PlayStation Plus users in advance.

I was also disappointed it wasn't in the SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection. It seems the main focus has been on the first two in the series in most cases (excluding the dedicated Sonic the Hedgehog collections). I wouldn't mind seeing Sonic 3 & Knuckles with trophy support to be honest. Probably the only game I'd get the 'complete the game in under X hours/minutes' trophy having played it so much I know the levels off by heart.

That is a great idea. I've been thinking;  'SEGA, Why u no release sonic 3 & sonic & knuckles on ps3???!!!' for a long time now. I'm thinking of getting sonic 2, and it would be great to get sonic 3 then sonic and knuckles to complete the "knuckles collection" . This fourm should hopfully raise the hopes of getting sonic 3 & sonic and knuckles on the PSN!

here is the best idea for sega: first release sonic3, then release a copy of sonic & knuckles that locks onto sonic 1 (NO WAY! NO WAY!/GET BLUE SPHERES), sonic 2 (Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2), and Sonic 3( Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles) from the Sonic & Knuckles screen.

I have bought every sonic game that has come on the PS3.  I would love to have any versions of Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles (preferably both together as the true game should have been) with full trophy support to complete my collection.
