Re: Changes to PlayStation®Network Terms of Service and Privacy Policy‏ - Anyone else get this email

[ Edited ]

Wow..

Luckily this doesn't affect me too badly, but i'm on my second console, was thinking about trading it the fat for the slim (be the 3rd console) and should that break, then the presumed fourth wouldn't work with the account? That's beyond unfair. All that money spent in the stores, on content, DLC, Home..all the trophies..

Kinda stunned, gonna go check me emails.

EDIT: Nah no emails related to this, only a matter a time though i guess

Re: Changes to PlayStation®Network Terms of Service and Privacy Policy‏ - Anyone else get this email

Just called up the uk sony this morning trying to find out about this, they said they had no word from the official office about the change of the 5 to 3 instead.  They said when you run out of available activations they said they would reset the activations for you, but until they run out they won't.  So they wouldnt reset the one I had to return i'm sad, lol.  But no official email as of yet and nothing from sony uk so i don't think it's out yet or will be comming out till EVERYONE gets an email not just a handful of people.

To muddy the waters further I was just told to ignore the revisions made to the TOS by a call center worker at SCEE and that the video store was limited to 3 activations and games still stood at 5.

Sorry for the double post. It's just been confirmed to have been a clerical error - meaning the number remains 5 and those that received the email should get one with corrections soon.

Case closed :smileyhappy:

Disregard it, the 3 activation thing was a typo.
