Thinking about creating a new account and possibly removing this one..

Dont like the name which reminds me of something.... but then again... i have lots of ps store stuff bought on it
IF i removed my malkku90 user... would i lose my psn games like battlefield 1943 if i have other accounts on the system... but i know i cant download em again if my ps3 breaks.
Is there something else that might trouble me if i remove the account... coz now i cant think of anything else D: having to earn all trophys back doesnt trouble me at all.

If you de-activated your account, yes you would loose the licsenses for those games, hence they wouldn't work, I'd keep 'malkku90' as your backup account and use it for purchases. Just use your new account as one to play the games.

I've been trawling these forums but can't seem to find an answer to my issue that's somewhat similar. I've got an old account on my PS3 that has a considerable amount of downloaded content for Rock Band and other such games. Will the downloaded content be available for the new PSN id i'll be adding?

DAJD196 - generically, yes

a (literally) couple of people have mentioned that some Little Big Planet DLC didn't work with other accounts on the same PS3, but this has been very few and far between.

On the plus side, you have nothing to loose (as long as you don't delete the old account! )

create a new one, and see if it can get at the original DLC
