Re: Deactivating Game Media using the Online Portal

The layout isn't very helpful, it says I am activated in 6 ps3s...that's not possible. To make matters worse, it doesn't give much info about the different machines.

Re: Deactivating Game Media using the Online Portal

You can also get to the new portal using the old account management address:

https://store.playstation.com/login.gvm

It will take you to this page:

Just click "Manage Your Account" and you will be redirected to the new portal.

How do you deactivate the music, video, and comic systems? It won't let me select them.

Hello and welcome to the PlayStation®Community.

At the moment Video, Music and Comic Media cannot be deactivated using the online portal.

You can only deactivate this media from PlayStation®Network using your PS3™ or PSP™ system:

  1. On the XMB™ menu, go to PlayStation®Network and sign in to your PlayStation®Network account.
  2. Go to Account Management > System Activation > PS3™ System or PSP™ System.
  3. Select the type of content you no longer want your PS3™ System or PSP™ System to use.
  4. Highlight [Deactivate System] and press the triangle button.
  5. Your system will then be deactivated.
  6. Highlight [OK] and press the triangle button.

For alternate methods of deactivating your PlayStation® systems see this help article:

http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=796

I hope this helps.
