Dead Rising 2 Demo On PSN

[ Edited ]

How many of you would like to see a Dead Rising 2 Demo on PSN for us to play and try out until the game is released.

We have been waiting pretty long and a demo would keep us all silent and stop everyone moaning. Its over a year now and theres no demo so who agrees we should now have one on PSN.

The demo does exist now as ign played it as seen in the following video

Hopefully it will be uploaded onto PSN by sony so we can all play it

Re: Dead Rising 2 Demo On PSN

Yeah why not, it can't hurt.

I wasn't aware PS3 was getting DR2 so I'm a happy camper now anyway.

Re: Dead Rising 2 Demo On PSN

I hope so, I played the original on 360 and in fact I think that's what swayed me to the xbox in the first place (that and I couldn't afford a ps3 at the time). I'm pumped to see the multiplayer in action, just hope they don't make the dam near impossible achievements they did on the first game.

Re: Dead Rising 2 Demo On PSN

wow I was looking forward to this until I saw that video :smileysad: looks exactly the same as the 1st, and how ***** is the guy playing it!? just running into walls and doing ***** all to show off the game.

Re: Dead Rising 2 Demo On PSN

I dont like the look of the style on this game compared to the original tbh...

Maybe Im wrong but the first had unsuspecting Frank West the journalist (Iv covered wars ya know!) and 3 days to meet some really cool characters or mess around.

DR2 looks like a sort of quick fire gameshow style, pick a mode mash at buttons for 5 mins then pick another? And the character is so generic I wouldnt be surprised if he literally melded into the nearest concrete wall.

I'm pretty sure the 360 has the exclusive for the demo of DR2.   And it's not an ordinary demo that lets you play the first few minutes of the main game.   This demo is actually going to be set prior to the 2nd title setting the backstory and scene for the main game.

EDIT

--

Here's a quote:

Capcom have revealed that Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be exclusive to the Xbox 360.  Case Zero is an extra level added to the beginning of September’s Dead Rising 2’s story and will be available shortly before the game itself is released.

Technically, Case Zero is a stand alone product and won’t require Dead Rising 2 to run, but this is much more than just a demo, it’ll be a completely new level and will set up the game’s zombie invasion and link the first game into the second, tempting players into splashing the cash on the real deal.
